All Ohio Shop Hop

Summer in Ohio means one thing for quilters and sewists: it's Shop Hop season.

The 2026 All Ohio Shop Hop™ runs August 1 through September 30, and we are ready. Quilt Beginnings in Dublin is a participating store this year, which means we'll be stamping passports, carrying the exclusive fabric collection, and looking forward to seeing your face — whether you're a seasoned hopper or making your very first trip.

Here's everything you need to know to plan your adventure.

What is the All Ohio Shop Hop?

The All Ohio Shop Hop™ is part of Great Sewing Adventures, the nation's largest sewing and quilting shopping program. The concept is simple and completely wonderful: quilt shops across Ohio open their doors to hoppers who travel from store to store, collect passport stamps, discover new shops, and earn entries into hundreds of prize drawings along the way.

It runs for two full months — August 1 through September 30 — giving you
plenty of time to plan your routes, hop with different groups of friends, and explore parts of Ohio you might not otherwise visit.
There's no set route and no set schedule. You go at your own pace, on your own terms.

The magazine is your passport to everything

The official All Ohio Shop Hop™ Magazine is how the whole event works — it's your guide, your map, and your passport all in one. Inside you'll find:

• Your official prize passport (required for stamp collection and prize registration)
• A complete list of participating stores with special Shop Hop hours
• Regional and statewide maps to help you plan your route
• Free patterns featuring the 2026 exclusive fabrics
• Inspiring articles and sewing resources

This year's exclusive fabric: Island Batik

Every year, the All Ohio Shop Hop™ features an exclusive fabric collection made specifically for the event — available only at participating stores. This year's collection comes from Island Batik Fabrics, and it's a standout.

The 2026 collection is a vibrant lineup of colorful batik prints with imagery that's all Ohio: buckeyes, cardinals, flags, flowers, vines, and two word toss designs. There are eight unique designs with color variations for 17 total fabrics, plus 10 coordinating blender fabrics to round out the collection — giving you a rich, cohesive palette to work with for any project you have in mind.

How the prizes work

One of the most fun parts of the Shop Hop is the prize program — and it's more layered than you might expect. Here's how it breaks down:

Event Grand Prize: Collect stamps from every participating store in Ohio and you're entered to win the top prize.

Halfway Prize: Visit at least half of all participating stores statewide for a prize drawing entry.

Regional Prizes:
Complete all stores within a region to earn entries into that region's prize drawing. You can complete multiple regions for more chances to win.

A few important notes: no purchase is necessary to participate, you must
be 18 or older, and only one passport per person may be submitted. A special youth passport is available for young sewists ages 8–17 — pick one up at any participating Shop Hop store.

Prize drawings will be held live on Thursday, October 22 at 6:00 p.m. ET via Facebook and YouTube. More details at allohioshophop.com/prizes.

We're at 6591 Sawmill Rd in Dublin, Ohio, and we'll have your passport stamp, your exclusive Island Batik fabric, and a warm welcome ready when you arrive.
