Join expert fiber artist Stacey Coffee as she guides you through a textile adventure! In this 3-day workshop, you’ll expand your skills and creativity by creating an original piece of textile art using raw-edged applique and a variety of specialty techniques and materials. Choose from one of these three photos and learn how to design a pattern, transfer it to your base fabric, and create realistic eyes. Stacey is a wealth of knowledge and inspiration and will teach you how to think about fabric choice, the importance of value, and the role of gorgeous threads and mixed media in adding dimension to your project. Explore different collage styles and how to find your own voice. You will see fabric in a whole new light after this class. Fee $299, plus $25 specialty supply fee paid directly to instructor.
