Inspirations Workshop

FROM THE NOVICE TO THE EXPERIENCED
Whether you're interested in learning how to quilt with your embroidery machine or how to stitch a onesie without frustration – this Inspirations Event is designed for you. Led by Eileen Roche, learn the secrets to successful hooping, precision placement and professional finishing techniques, like zipper insertion and dimensional accents.

ENJOY 2 FUN FILLED DAYS
Learn simple shortcuts for stitching multiple items, hooping techniques for tired hands, tips for quilting large and small quilts, how to precisely hoop ready-wear items and even how to piece in the hoop!

LEARN NEW TECHNIQUES AND CONNECT WITH OTHERS
Team sewing on top of the line machines is a great way to learn! Every student will receive a kit for all 6 projects, including instructions, designs and all supplies. All you need to bring is yourself!

Summer Camp

July 30 - August 3

School's out for summer! What a fantastic time for kids to experience the joy of sewing at Quilt Beginnings!

Entertain and educate your 10-14 year old this summer by enrolling them in our week long sewing camp. During Sewing Camp, every camper will complete three or four adorable stuffed pillows. Choose your favorites: a pig, fox, owl, cat or dog!

Camp runs daily from 10am to 1pm. Kits will be provided for all of the projects. Bring a sack lunch daily. Fee $169 (includes all fabric, sewing supplies and use of our sewing machines).

Star Spangled Celebration

Serger Workshop

July 20 & 21
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM DAILY
Instructor: Baby Lock Expert Lori Hernandez

All skill levels welcome!

Even if you are a novice with your serger or don't even own one yet, this workshop is for you! Bring your own Baby Lock serger, or reserve one of ours. All fabrics and supplies for both days are included! Lunch provided.

Day 1: Techniques galore!
On your first day with Lori, you will explore multiple techniques that are unique to a serger and give amazing, professional results. From inserting zippers and quilting, to decorative trims and cording, these techniques will lay the foundation for creating your cross-body bag on Day 2.

Day 2: Floral Embellished Cross-Body Bag
Apply what you learned on Day 1 while creating an adorable cross-body bag that Lori designed! Lori will lead you every step of the way as you learn how easy it is to master professional techniques on your serger! Everyone will complete their cross-body bag in class!
